HUMAN SHIELD
The shield is symbolic of protection and strength. The Zulu shaped shield draws on our rich cultural heritage.The Ankh is the key of life a symbol easily linked with religious connotations. I have adapted its shape to a sword representing strength. One side of the Ankh is male the other female and the two together bring a third entity, which looks back at the viewer questioning.
Guiding Ancestors (Angels) are hinted in the background they have brought us here and are a part of us.
